Goodman Theatre's Women's Board
The Women’s Board was founded in 1978 to expand the community and financial base of the Goodman Theatre. The 2022/2023 Season marks the 45th Anniversary of the Women’s Board.
The current 50 members are among Chicago’s most active and philanthropic women. They share a passion for theater and play an essential role supporting Goodman Theatre productions and education and engagement programs. The Women’s Board raises more than $1.5 million annually through a variety of activities including: an annual solicitation campaign, Fall Education Benefit and Spring Gala.
Since its inception, the Women’s Board has raised over $50 million for 41 Goodman productions and an array of educational programs. Through their extraordinary work, Women’s Board members, past and present, have had a profound impact on Goodman Theatre, its audiences and civic life in Chicago.
